i am thinking of getting a 180 gallon tank plus a 140 gallon sump/ mangrove tank on the side I want a powder blue tang a naso tang a blond naso tang a yellow tang a blue hippo 7+ anthias some sort of butterfly fish 3-5 small wrasse 2 storm clowns and a foxface I don't know if that is a lot or just right I will probably get more as well.

I think I will set off the blue hippo and naso tang.

Any Naso will eventually outgrow a 180 gallon. The blue hippo is borderline, but is doable depending on a few factors.

The rest looks just fine.

Almost all butterflies are not reef safe, in case you didn't already know.

on liveaquaria it says a 180 is big enough for a naso

but I might get some other tang/tangs if I don't get the hippo or the naso

Hi, I just found this and wanted to let you know that Hippo will be fine for a 180 I think that is minimum since 190 - 220 only add height to the tank. Take a look at some of the tangs I plan on getting or might: Achilles, Purple, Blue Hippo, and Whitetail Bristletooth. There are tons of tangs to choose from and I think Naso requires a length of 8'. But Hippo should be fine, tell me some tangs you like.
