I have a 55g I'm looking to stock.
Must be reef friendly. I'm open to any ideas.

Clowns are always great
Smaller Fairy Wrasses are fun
A jawfish is a good addition if you have enough substrate
A yasha goby with a pistol shrimp are nice too
Depending on what corals you have, and whether or not you want to take the risk, cherub angels are cool
Hawkfish are cool and have a lot of personality
A school of firefish are nice, but they don't live to long
All depends on what you like.. theres a bunch of options (cardinals, fairy basslets, etc.)

I’m stocking my 55 and I’m doing
1 Mandarin
1 black cap jawfish
1 yasha goby + pistol shrimp
1 starry blenny
1 fairy wrasse haven’t decided which kind yet
1 mimic filefish
1 dwarf angel
2 clowns

Hopefully you can find a captive bred mandarin. It's tough to keep wild caught ones alive in a new tank.

That’s not in order that’s way down the line
