i have my build here https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/lowish-budget-high-tech-25-gallon-jbj-aio.1144361/
stocking plan so far has been my two clowns 11 and 9 year old clowns (very docile unless super close to egg clutches), yasha goby and pistol shrimp pair. im unsure of adding the springeri damsels i had from my previous tank. they only chased eachother and i have enough bio with my hob refugium to handle it, but will they go after the yasha at all?
If i just go with the smaller springeri damsel do you think i could get away with a yellow clown goby or will the damsel not like him? (instead of the 2 springeri although they are a mated pair)

only the 2 clowns are in right now.and rocks will be organized and grinded to better fit.
also perfect timing for the messy wire contest. i have to install mounting for the led to the back of the tank and remove rock so i decided wire in front was easier for a couple of weeks

I've only ever had bad luck with adding damsels to community tanks, yes, even springeri's. So that would be a no from me, good luck

I personally wouldn't do a damsel as well. With two clowns who are older and a damsel being in the same tank, that would lead to aggression issues.

they were never a problem in my im 50 gallon, but i can see them being more of an issue in the 25.
any idea what price i should put on a mated pair? plan to put them well below the value as i would only sell them to someone with a good established tank. i have had one since 2020 and the other since 2022. just dont want them going to a tank where they will just be used as cycling fish

im thinking the plan of 2 clowns, 1 yellow clown goby, and 1 yasha/pistol shrimp pair is the way to go then. honestly its prob for the best damsels are active little devils and i shudnt split them up.
they are so fast pics are impossible to get of them

listed the springeri damsels for $30 as i think that is fair for a mated pair. I just really want them to be able to live out their days in a stable system
