As my 90g mixed reef will be hitting the one year mark this fall, I’m very proud of how it’s turning out to be:

However, as you can see it’s very one sided and I would like to fill in the spaces with either some LPS that can give a “flowing” look to the right side, similar to the left side, or some SPS that can do well in moderate lighting, as the right side is not stacked as high with rock work. I just don’t know the names of a lot of sps because I only recently became interested in them. Any suggestions?

Here are the areas I’d like to fill in:

If you want to go the SPS route, I always tell people to start out with cheaper SPS corals. You can get acros cheaply if you don't go for the well-known ones like the Walt Disney. You could also do some montis, as those are hardy and grow quickly too.

Pavona is awesome and extremely forgiving, grows like a weed too! I got it when it was pretty small, now it’s branching & encrusting like crazy! It also has movement! Usually it has a fuzziness on the branches due to the polyps. When I took this pic the urchin just walked over it… lol
