I dont buy corals by name. Only by looks and what will contrast good with the others in my tank.
Looks and low price are my deciding factors haha
same but can't get the nice torches for low prices :p

This coming tuesday for me

No idea what the names are but didn't care. They were cheap and colors that I do not yet have.

got both for under $200.. so I'll take it.Got some other torch types for $30 - $50 from auctions as well.
Dont have any photos of them on me though.

My problem is I run a relatively low-tech tank. (No Sump) HOB filter, powerheads and Skimmer.
I cant keep my PH above 7.9 ( Prob because of winter and windows being closed making the c02 in the air higher)

But I dont want to invest in a dosing system for Kalkwasser. So for now my corals will have to grow and be happy with PH around 7.9.

This may be a dumb question, but is there there any way to get a clown to stop hosting a coral?
Recently one of my clowns has started to host one of my torches and as expected, the torch is not happy about it. I dont want her stressing and killing the torch since it cost 10x what he cost. So if someone has to go, it is not going to be the torch haha.

I do not have a 2nd tank at the moment to move the clown into.
Move it to the other side of the tank and it might leave it. I had to do this with a Duncan colony and it worked.

Yea I am going to try moving it this weekend. I dont have much free space in my tank since I am currently setting up a bigger new main tank. But I have not finished the Aquascape or started to cycle it yet. So it will be a few more weeks at best before it can keep corals alive.
