Good evening reefers!! You guys have provided great information to a new reefer like me and I thank you all for the vital input that you guys provide!

Anyways, I have these hair like growths on a rock that I got from my LRS and have no idea what it is. My wife thinks they are worms but I don’t see them moving. They have been in my tank for about three months so far. They aren’t getting any bigger or spreading but look like whiskers.

I know someone is going to ask about water parameters and they are all good except for phosphates and currently running GFO and water changes to bring it down. Also running a 130 gl water box with 2x hydra 32.

Pictures extremely blue and flushed but appears to be bryopsis. It’s a tough algae to battle and roots must be removed in order to stop it
