I have a nice little (4") Blue Snowflake Star Polyp colony, and this strange white thing has appeared in the middle of it. It practically is covered over completely when the lights have been on and the polyps are fully extended, and the rest of the colony is doing just fine. Does anyone know what it is, if I should be concerned, and how i might possibly remove it?

Thanks.

Sponge... Safe to leave where it is. They are good filter feeders and will grow or recede based on nutrients they feed on.
