Strawberry shortcake?

This frag was sold to me as a strawberry but as I look at pics from other sources I’m not so sure now. Can anybody confirm for me?

I can try later when my whites come back on. But the reason I’m asking is the coral pictures I’ve seen show what appears to be a smooth skinned acro and as you can see from the picture this thing’s a fuzzy stick.

It's not a smooth skinned, or deepwater acro rather. It's a acropora microlados and its polyps can get pretty long in certain tanks.

Correct most shortcakes are a microlados, though you can get some like the bali shortcake which are latistella, etc.

Thx. Guess I just have to wait till it colors up. The mother colony was already stressed out and almost pure white when I purchased it so I’m happy that it’s apparently happy in my tank. Some of the polyps extend almost 1/4 inch and some are longer than that.

I would say judging by the polyps, and being sold as SSC.. It probably is. SSC/Microclados are know for the long sweeper tentacle in their polyps.
