Stretched out ricordea

So a couple of days ago I introduced these guys into my tank: (specifically the orange and green ones)

so this morning I go down and check on my tank and I find the chunk of rock has some how come loos from the plug and is now hanging from the plug by the little guy, who has been stretched to about 2ish inches. So I saved them and the little guy now looks like this:

what are the odds of my new mushroom living/dying?

Very good. I saw another post where the ricordea had stretched out over 6-8 inches and was still doing great (albeit looking a bit odd).
