So my clowns have had stringy white poo for a bit now but they were still eating really well so I didn't think much of it. But after reading I am thinking internal parasite. I have both metro and prazipro on hand. I assume I need to pull the clowns and put them in another tank for treatment?

ill tell you rite away its an internal parasite my clowns had it actually one the female i feed them spectrum pellets and the stringy whit poop use to come out i asked acouple of friends and sure nough one of my buddies said he had the same issue and later found out it was an internal parasite prazi pro can cure it as it did for me i treated them in a seprate tank for 2 weeks once i noticed that the poop had changed color to the color of the food i put them back into my dt but you should act now and not wait gl

Been there and done that(to many times  ) prazi works great. I have heard it's reef safe, but did not want to test that out myself.

Yes it is there all the time. K I got them moved to a temp tank but it was just with water from the main tank which is only a 32g. I have them in a cooler thing that I use for fish when needed with the top closed on it it stays pretty consistent with temp. I will be doing daily water changes as I don't have any beneficial bacteria to put in there. Unless I should add a few pieces of my live rock that is in the sump area?
I have their food soaking in metro as from what I was told on my local forum that will be the best to get it into their system.
