Hey all,

I have a striped blenny and it looks like it bit my Watchman Goby. I have been having a hard time finding information on the venom in terms of if it's deadly or not to other smaller fish.

I don’t believe so. But from what I’ve read it’s only used as a defensive mechanism so if it’s not a bullying fish it should be fine. I had one for a while with all types of fish small to extra large and it held its own and never killed anything

Annoying but ok. I think you have your answer. Any bite from any fish could lead to the death of a small fish. Fang Blenny is unlikely to have inflicted a fatal bite though. With out photos or description though it’s impossible to even guess.

I would have loved to post photos but I only saw the bite once. The Gobys left side was swollen pretty bad. He is hiding in a spot I can't get any kind of picture of.

If it’s on his side I would leans towards he will be fine.
