Strombus snail vanished!

I put a Strombus snail in my 165g a few days ago. I haven't seemed for about three days now. I'm guessing he's buried up in the sand which is about 4" deep. Anybody else that has these how long have you gone without seeing them?

If I remember correctly, mine used to disappear occasionally. I'd give it some more time. A 165 gallon has a ton of places to hide !!!

I agree. I have discovered things that I have not seen in months. It is amazing how they can hide. Look at night.

I assumed he was just hiding. I'm gonna use some Rod's Food today and see if I can get him to come out like a zombie!
