Stung by Magnifica.

A while back someone posted a thread talking about magnifica sting. I was the first to say nope. It doesn't bother me. Well....
The spots developed over time. Each times I got stung, it hurts more.

I once had a haddoni that did that to me, looked exactly same as that, but fortunately for me no other anemone has done that(Knock on wood so far as I keep a mag as well)

You might want to start wearing gloves, other than that I don't know what else to do to remedy the stings you have, possibly benedryl, but may want to check w/ Dr first

That happened to me with my gigantea. I wears glove every time I'm in the tank now. The underside of the arm seems to be the most sensitive part.

My bubbles sting me. Look similar. I was never stung until recently.

One of the coolest and most interesting(to me anyway) things that's ever happened to me w/ clowns and nems, is when my haddoni was stinging me, my picasso's I had since babies for 5.5 years that would never go near that haddoni, would start attacking it, lashing out feverishly.

They obviously knew it was stinging me, and I think they saw me as feeder/host or something, but they did that every time, wish I would have got video of that.

I eventually got rid of the haddoni, they refused it for far too long anyway, and I was pretty over getting stung.

A mag or gig, I would tolerate gloves for.

The interesting thing is I didn't feel anything the first few times I got stung. Eventually, the sting is worse each time. The spots in the pictures came back up from underneath my skin every time I got stung.

And it will only get worse with each subsequent sting. Wear gloves.
