I think it's safe to say there is no visible stress or irritation where the 2 colours touch. Cool, hope mine will also blend like this when they grow :)

Well we hit a speed bump in this experiment, fat tang ran into it while i was feeding.. snapped the whole branch off.. well it must continue! so... i reglued it to a top branch

Well if anyone is thinking of doing this I would say to place the rainbow at the highest point on the purple stylo, it grows fast and has a different branching pattern. Most likely will have to prune here and there also. This one is getting so big and closer to the top of the water that I am having trouble getting a picture... good problem to have I suppose! ;) I think I need to add some green stylo into the mix and cut down some of the purple...
