HI,

I was hoping to get some advice on my system.

I have a 360 gallon system with a large chaeto reactor. My system grew the chaeto amazing for a few months and now the chaeto just doesn't grow.

i think iron dosing will do the trick. i bought some

Brightwell Aquatics

FERRION - LIQUID IRON SUPPLEMENT

How much would you recommend I dose for my sysem. I know we cant test the iron levels so how many ML should I dose?

The purple for growing the chaeto is to get my n03 down. I have a very high fish load and feed heavy for my corals.

I dose Ferrion a couple times a week. Just started using it and it has greened up my Chaeto. I dose half the recommended amount on the bottle instructions. Your Chaeto probably is not growing as fast because it has depleted the PO4 available in the tank.. Chaeto does need an Iron Supplement to maintain good health IMO. As with anything in this hobby, go slow at first.

I dose 1 ml once a week in a 250 gallon system.
Wow that's it just 1ml per 250 gallons. Seems like this bottle will last a lifetime I'm glad I asked I was gonna dump a cap full in

That's all I need. Chaeto is green as can be and grows fairly quickly . Might grow faster if I dosed more.
