I have a 12 gallon Reef Casa tank
Kessil a360x light
AI nero 3 wave maker (located top, left, back of my tank. Under the spill over drain)
(I can't figure out how to upload pictures)
Random flow @ 7% 12 hrs (day)
Pulse @ 2% 12 hour. (Night)
Cheap protein skimmer
Ceramic rings.
I also have dragons tongue going in the tank and Chaetomorpha (in the refugium) with its own light on the way
12 hour light schedule.
Knob is about ¼ . All blue

2 misbar clowns
2 red leg hermit crabs
1 grim reaper zoa
Im only adding more coral and CUC.
I'm wanting an anemonie for my clowns.

Any suggestions about wave maker placement or anything?
I'm still kind of new to this.
I just want to make sure im doing the best I can for my animals. I've really fell for this hobby lol

12 gallon tank is pretty small for an anemone and they tend to move alot and can kill corals in the process. Especially bubble tips which is one of the more popular nems. ( if kept healthy they can split alot and take over the tank as well) You can probably get away with a rock flower anemone but not sure the clowns will host it. I have seen clowns host branching hammer corals and hairy mushrooms. If they want to host bad enough they will find a sub for the anemone.

Like any size tank it depends on the placement of LR and coral placement within the working space of the aquarium. You have to take on the role of "fluid dynamics engineer" by observing current/wave action and adjust as necessary.
