I don't want to name the vendor yet, as I just received my coral shipment from one of the sponsors today, so want to see if we can come to a mutual conclusion that works for both parties. However, I do want to see anyone's thoughts on how you might approach this situation:

I purchased several WYSIWYG items via auction back in December. I asked for a delayed shipment date and they said they could accomodate me. I reached out prior to the shipping date to confirm it would be coming, but received no response. Of course, they didn't end up shipping. I then asked for a second date, and they gave me options to choose from. I chose from one of their options and they again did not ship. I'm annoyed but I understood that things were probably hectic during the holidays or maybe they weren't as staffed then, so I let it slide. On my third attempt at getting my items shipped, I ended up calling them to make sure my items get shipped during the next date, to which they finally sent out my order. Because they missed the prior two shipment attempts, I had to rearrange my work schedule to accommodate their error, which was not easy for me to do.

In total I received 9 items:
- 2 items did not get shipped. They were decent sized acan colonies that I won for a good price. Suspicious that these were the two that were missing?
- 5 of the items got replaced for a poorer version - smaller, worse coloring, weird fragging, and one was supposed to be an interesting colored hammer with unique polyp shapes, but I ended up getting a run of the mill pinkish brown hammer

How would you approach this?

Have you reached out to them yet, and if so what was their response.

Overall I'd be initially angry, but that all gets changed with their response.

There's a vendor feedback sub-forum that might be a good place for you to communicate with the vendor, though it doesn't allow for outside comments:

Always provide feedback you have on vendor feedback! Also don't be afraid to reach out to the vendor to try and get the situation handled as well

I share your suspicions as to whether your WYSIWYG corals were even 'still around' when corals were eventually sent.

I got 20 on asd

Ill see that and raise you $20 😉

Probably not the correct phrase but it sounded good lol. Im not much of card player.

OP If so I would dispute the charge and move on because it will never get resolved to your satisfaction based on my experience.
