Help needed:
I have had a 70 gallon saltwater tank set up for a year. My invertebrates (snails, hermit crabs and fire shrimp do just fine. Anytime I try to add fish they die within 2-3 weeks. Water samples taken in to store where fish are bought show levels are correct including salt. I have sent out water twice to have chemical/metal levels checked and those results come back good. The tank has crushed coral, live and dead coral rocks. Does anyone have an idea of why the fish won’t survive. I have lost over 20.

You need to quarantine your fish or purchase pre-quarantined fish. It’s likely that the fish are coming in sick, or getting sick from something in the tank brought in by other fish. To ensure your tank is safe, wait 76 days from the date of your last fish purchase before adding any new fish. When you’re ready to restock, choose pre-quarantined fish or quarantine new fish yourself.
