Hello, my tank is close to 1 year old. I would have figured at this point it should be getting fairly established. I did let tank maintenance slide for a few month but I never overfed. The past month or so Ive done a bunch of water changes, 30 gallons at a time. I have around 350 gallons total water volume. My issue is Im getting some green algae growing in my display pretty quick and Im having to keep up with it daily. Whats strange is under my regular lighting spectrum (mostly blue) it looks red. When I use just white leds its green. I did test my water and and my current conditions are:
1.026
alk 8.47
cal 431
phos .05
nitrates 0
temp 79
Nitrates are at 0 and Im actually trying to raise them some because Im going to add coral soon. Im going to add some pics of the algae below in white lighting.
Im kind of stumped with the algae and not sure exactly what I should do.
