Just picked up a 75 gallon long tank. Trying to find out the best size sump and skimmer for my set up ? Its going to be lps dominate . Not exactly sure what I should be running. Please help!!! I was looking at the eshopps rs-100 sump and the reef octopus 110? Will this be enough??

I recommend a sump that comes with or can accommodate a roller mat. (I use a Trigger Platinum 34)

I am not a big proponent of skimmers for filtration, but highly recommend them for aeration in conjunction with outside air or a CO2 scrubber if you need to deal with elevated CO2 in the house. (I use an Aeraqua Duo - dead silent and highly tuneable for aeration)

I'm the one who says no sump no skimmer....but on new tank I would run at least a skim
...then wean it off after a year. If it's only LPS....just throwing it out there..... que the attack lol..

I have a 75g and eshopps r200.
Reef Octopus is a good brand.

The 1050 gph model fits in the return area, which is tight
