Was wondering what material you guys are using to build your own control boards for the sump. It’s time I need to build one for my reefer 450 but wanted a nice black look to match.

A shadow box frame and hole saw.

I plan on using pine or plywood with polyeurathine paint but haven't build it yet

I will be using a sheet of plywood painted black. Black acrylic sheet is a great idea to... Maybe better for you if it will be in the sump area, less chance of warping or water damage compared to wood.
