Noticing that there is almost no movement in the first chamber of the sump. I'm new to sumps (AIOs FTW!), so not sure if this is normal or not.

Also, does my pipe need to be cut shorter or is this OK?

That’s an interesting first chamber. It appears to be moving water quietly and without any splash to make excess salt creep.

I would leave it alone, and I really struggled with how to answer this question on a family member forum :face-with-hand-over-mouth:

“does my pipe need to be cut shorter?”
