I have a 55 gallon reef setup I want to hook a 29 to it for the sump"currently using a 10 gallon but want a bigger sump" also get down to one system instead of two could I store frags in 29"sump" that I just fragged or would that raise the ammonia and levels in the 55 or should I just keep the frag tank setup I have?

Are you just using it for frags that you made from corals in the DT? Or do you use it to also QT corals that are new? If you use it to QT, I would keep the systems separate. I don't see ammonia being an issue. Depending on the corals and how many, you may have to start dosing since more corals means they will consume more (especially calcium). Also, having the two tanks might make it easier to isolate issues with corals to avoid the problem spreading.

It would be corals cut from the display.

And so I'll keep the second and for new corals. Make sense wouldn't be much qt them if there in sump lol.
