Hey all,

I just installed a sump into my 75 gallon tank, and I currently have a seaclone 100 protein skimmer that was previously hanging on the back of my tank. This protein skimmer converts to being able to be put in a sump and I miscalculated the size of my skimmer section as I thought the skimmer pump was setup different. The slime will not sit facing outward the way it “says to”. I attached pictures and was wondering if I setup my skimmer pictured below as the skimmed water would be pouring into my refuge um section would that be fine? I plan to upgrade my skimmer but not at the moment. Thanks in advance!!

I'm not familiar with that skimmer, but if I am understanding it correctly, that should work just fine.
