Sump sizing for cabinet

Basic question - my sump cabinet inside width is a little under 15 inches. I am looking at the Eshopps AF-100 sump which states its width is 14 inches so it can probably fit in my cabinet but it would be snug - is it best to have a little more working room in the cabinet? Thanks!

depends on what your running in your sump, anything that hangs on the rim may be a no go, but on the good side is any added reactors or UV lights will be over the sump, so leaks are a non issue
