Hi
New to marine tanks. After taking my sump out of commission for a few days while I modify it to fit a Clarisea. I’m just wondering how long is too long in terms of water becoming toxic with no filtration I have a Red Sea 425 with 10 fish and a few softies. Tia

Unless there is a bunch of sludge down there you should be OK. If dirty, then just take the opportunity to clean it and water change it out. Either way, make sure the water is up to temp, salinity.

Do I have to worry about nitrate spike in md with no filtration The tank is already full of particles floating around

If u r referring to the display tank water, it should not be an issue as long as the powerheads have been running to keep water moving.

not sure if its the pix (hard to see w blue lights on) but not really seeing murky water... or are u referring to particles floating in water, if so then ur water looks fine and I wouldn't be concerned. If u prefer/want crystal clear water, then the clarisea should take care of that.
