Hi all, I’m new to reefkeeping, I’ve had my tank just over a month. I got a sun coral, and I had it too close to the light originally, but it would open just fine at night. I moved it so it’s not right under the light and so that it’s under another rock since it’s NPS and I’d like to train it to feed during the day. However, after the move one of the heads did something really strange. It’s starting to recover now it seems and even opened last night. I’ve had my water parameters tested and phosphate was less than .1, I had 2 nitrates, salinity 1.025 and calcium at 450. I’ve had it about a week or so now I think. Has anyone seen this before? Is it just stress from the move? The photos are in order from oldest to newest.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
