Sun Phase for LEDs

I've looked and looked but can't semester to find or at least understand a sun Phase schedule for LEDs. With the available lunar modules and some led's actually have a lunar or moon setting that mimics the actual moon cycle. New moons, full moons, ect. Why is it so hard to have a program the has actual sun Phase? Sun rise this week is at 630 and sun set at 830 and next week it's 730 and 8. Seems like our reefs would benefit from this program. Am I missing something?
