Is this a sundial snail some pics I see and say now way others I say absolutely. So now I default to your opinions

It's already gone. When unsure and it's a snail. Throw the deuces. I just want to know so I know what to look for

Could be a colonista as well.

In fact the more I think about it the more I'm convinced its a colonista. However this is the tell. Look at the closure on the shell. If it has a cone shape it's a sundial, If not then, well is not.

I have hundreds of colonistas and they all look just like that.
