Trying to help someone id this invert. Anyone know what it is and is it safe?

They look like limpets to me. If you could post a pic of them from the top I could be certain. If they look like little cones or pyramids from the top they are probably limpets!
I do not know if they are safe though
Hope I could help:)

Thank you. I'll see if he can send a picture from that angle. From what I understand limpets are not reef safe. I couldn't find this one on a list

No it is someone elses. He said he can't get a clear pick from the back side od them but they're rounded and don't ever move. To me they seem to be some sort of egg.

Most Limpets are reef safe (Keyhole Limpets are the bad ones.) But those don't look like Limpets to me.
Neat looking things, but I've never seen that before.

Ok, what kind of snails does this person have in the tank then?

Ok, this is what I've come up with
Nassairus Snail Egg

Hmmm they look close but many beads in the white area and these are solid yellow like a yoke. I couldn't find these anywhere. They are stationary so I really think they're an egg of sorts. He is just worried it is an egg ogg an undesirable sort.
