So I was gluing some coral down the other day and just noticed today that I got some super glue on the outside of my acrylic tank. It's right in the middle and a little smudged too. What is the best way to get rid of this and have it looking good again?? Thank you!

Kinda tough one there. If its on the outside you'd have to sand it clean then buff it out. Or try and lift the glue off the acrylic, knowing your going to leave a mark, but try to do the least amount of damage as possible, then go get some Novus Acrylic Polish, and buff out the scratches.

Is acrylic Acetone-proof? If so, you might be able to get to wipe clean without abrasives or picking at it with acetone.

Anyone know?

I believe that it would smoke up the acrylic via rubbing.

Get yourself a Micro-mesh kit. Then when you have some time, use blue painters tape, and cover the surrounding area. Start with 6000, take you time, and wet sand the super glue off. Then take the tape off, and wet sand with the 8000. You will need to feather it out. Then get the 12000 grit out, and feather it out some more. At this stage, you will need to go to liquid abrasives, either 3M or other auto body compounds, or even Novus Heavy scratch remover. I like to use a small wool bonnet, and moderate speed on a drill motor. If your patient, and end up with a fine liquid abrasive, you will be very happy with the result. I have has several clients call me for help with this situation. I charged accordingly! J
