Just curious,. when an LFS orders fish from a certain supplier. What how does the deal work with sick or soon dying fish?

When I used to purchase from a transshipper, I'd receive credit for the cost of any DOAs.

In most cases wholesalers will only credit LFS once the losses are over 10-15%, no credit if it's less than that. If an LFS gets fish trasshipped there is no recourse regardless of losses.

I'm glad I didn't buy from those kinds of transshippers.

Thank You gentle men. So if an lfs is getting a high number of sick or doa livestock. It 's up to him to use another supplier. It's up the the supplier to send healthy fish. Just wondered how it works.
