Surface agitation and PAR

How much does surface agitation affect PAR? I assume given reflection and refraction angles it must have a noticeable affect especially directly under the returns.

Good luck with those numbers. Of course it has an effect.

Take PAR readings during normal operation, then turn off all circulation and remeasure.

i would take par with pumps off then again with pumps on and adjust accordingly with pumps on.

You want the stable par when pumps are on.
