Surge Protector needed?

Hey, reading posts (fb, youtube etc) that surge protectors are a great safety to have and can save you and your fish from being electrocuted.

How would you install or use it exactly and what model or type would you need to get?

You are confused. You want a GFCI outlet installed by an electrician or a GFCI extension cord.
