Survived a Craigslist buy...

Putting jokes to the side many may not be aware but this beauty of a 660g system was for me a Craigslist find. It was much more than I expected and the fellow was filthy rich. Beautiful transaction all the way !!!

I had a pretty good experience from CL as well, got a 55 gallon tank, stand, fluval 306, led light and a whole mess of random stuff for I believe it was 100$ Not bad.

I always bring my GSD when I do things like this even if meeting in a neutral spot. Never a home. Buying or selling. And I let them know I will have a dog with me :) Usually also have a second person along but the dog always wins regardless.

Edit - glad that worked out for you. I've heard some crazy stories and it is hard to know what desperate people will do or those under the influence.

I try to avoid the Craigslist because of the nutters out there but I did get my 75 gallon, stand, two heaters, overflow, dosing pumps, a basic Marineland light, and a full bucket of Redsea Pro salt for $150 so I cannot complain.

I always take my buddy named glock with me when I meet craigslist people. If glock is unavailable springfield goes with me.

Wow. This is funny!

You should of seen it! They had sagging pants. One had a palm comb. They referred to me as dog. OMG I was so scared.

Found what I thought was 125 gallon tank with stand for sale. Offered 100$ and they accepted. Went and when they(being about six guys) opened the door all I can smell was pot... get in and it’s a 55 gallon... got into a small argument over the size and decided to cut my losses. Offered them 80 and they loaded it and I left as quick as possible.

uh oh anything but the dreaded POT.....
