Tank is a reboot after a 3yr fight with Ostreopsis dino. Focusing on micro fauna & biodiversity this round while still trying to minimize pests with good sourcing of livestock and QT when possible. Prefer more natural approach and less drastic ways of solving issues and exporting nutrients as a strategy.

Set up in Oct ’19. Currently going through tank uglies, adding additional fish & biodiversity packages (IPSF/AlgaeBarn/FloridaPets), and waiting for tank to mature enough for some easy corals in Spring.

Planned to be a mixed reef with mainly softies & LPS plus some rare and slow growing display macros & easy SPS which will all be left to grow from frags as long as possible.

Great reboot. My rocks also turned that lovely green at about 3.5 months. I have the same tank with less equipment.

Thanks! Yeah equipment junkie here, definitely an overkill...
Love your Nuvos too, especially the simplicity of the 14. Was thinking of getting a nano just for my macro but didn’t want a second set of equipment. I travel twice an year for 2-3 weeks at a time and automation is a must in my case.

Nice! I’m new to the hobby, what’s the stuff in your 1st photo (it’s purple, blue and green), and what’s the green and blue growth in your 8th photo?

I have some IPSF mini stars coming Friday! How are yours doing? Do you ever actually see them?

Again, nice tank and rock work. Thanks for sharing your setup and photos. Very helpful, especially for someone new like me.
