Sweeper tentacle question

My Octospawn had a sweeper tentacle attached to one of the heads of a Duncan colony earlier today, and needless to say the Duncan wasn’t pleased. I tried detaching it, but it broke off of the Octospawn, and it’s still stuck to the Duncan.

Can it still do damage to the Duncan?

Yes. Remove with baster or tongs.

Just tried the baster with no luck. Guess it’s time to dig out the tweezers.
