Title says most of it. I’m going to start dosing BRS 2 part in the pharma pouch. I want to double check my dosing numbers.

Currently dosing 12ml a day of ESV and according to the reef calculator when I switch to BRS pharma 2 part I should dose 18ml to maintain my current parameters.

That sounds about right to me. I switched but went from brs to ESV B Ionic. I had to cut back 1/3 of what I was dosing brs 2 part. What made you switch? For me I like that ESV has some trace elements.

ESV is 2.8 meq/ml, BRS is 1.9. So you need to use 2.8/1.9 = 1.47 times as much BRS as you're currently using with ESV. 17.6 ml, rounding to 18. :)

Yes I definitely knew all these fancy numbers! (Laying on the sarcasm pretty thick!)

Thank you for confirming my numbers.

I’m switching because I want to dose trace elements separately and don’t want to overdose the elements ESV adds.
