So here we go.

I collected some DRY ROCKS. Yes this time dry rocks instead of Live rock from the sea.

Dry rocks generally easier to aquascape with and NORMALLY don't run the risk of introducing unwanted pests such as algaes, aiptasias, crabs, etc.

I had experience of cleanest live rocks commonly have bubble algea, astrinas, mojano's and other pests, which make problems later on.

Dry Rock Collection

Soaking Rocks:

I washed all the rocks one by one with strong pressured fresh water to remove unwanted rubble and detritus.

Curing Rocks:

After washing it with strong pressured freshwater I kept in old tank. The rocks will stay in this tank for one week with fresh water, in-cause it release Nitrate or Phosphate. Strong circulation Pumps, Skimmer and activated Carbon will add once I will shift them in salt water.

Cycling Dry Rocks

Covered the tank for dark environment. It is good practice to leave the light off during the cycling process, since it is during this period that algae nutrients will be at their highest level, and high intensity lighting can stimulate excessive algae growth. In addition, the growth of nitrifying bacteria is inhibited by light.

Only little blue lights are hitting the tank, as can been seen in the picture.
