I have, they are solid, much better than the old version since the shadow wont have any leaks!

I have the old style 16" one and am looking for a 20" for the new build.
Wish they made it in the "shadow" version...

Are the drains designed to be glue joints or flex lines and clamps?

I believe you can do both, they are sturdy, and IMO the old version is worse with so many bulkheads and acrylic pieces glued together.
I took some pics from it when I saw it in person, am looking for them

Well I finally pulled the trigger and bought the overflow. I am super excited about this decision and can't wait to see how it works out. If my intuition is correct this is going to be an excellent addition to my upcoming build.

My build it slow but moving forward. Last weekend I finally removed the corner overflow and drilled my tank and granite top. I won't have water in it until the end of the month but I am loving it's low-profile presence in the tank. Here are a few pics of my progress.

Like the setup with the granite top and a sink right next to the tank. Whats the plan for the holes in the bottom of the tank where the corner overflow was?

The granite top and sink was on my list of must haves for this build. I am trying to eliminate any possibilities of deterioration of surfaces and the awful chore of toting buckets of water or dripping water on my wife's floors carrying stuff to the laundry sink.
To seal the holes, I am going to silicone a piece of 1/4" glass over them. Once covered with sand the patch will never be seen.
