Have tried contacting synergy with no success! Are they still in business?

I filled out the online form back on 1-23 with not a single response, and sent another 1-2 emails.

Really like what they have for sumps and the layout they come in. Have a 1200 ReefMatt that will be going in it. It’s for a 300+ tank.

that would be a bummer if they were. I have one of there sumps and love it. I was looking to upgrade my tank along with sump and I did notice on there site you have to request a quote.
when I bought my first one all of the products on the site had pricing listed, not sure why that changed. not getting a response in 2 and a half weeks though is not a good sign.

The kicker my most recent message was this past Thursday to their support email and nothing. No response. My new tank is coming in from glass cages in a week or two, and might have to go else where sadly. And loved how they have their sump setups.

A LFS I deal with all the time has a guy that can possibly make me a custom one. But it will be some time before I can get it in hands.

luna reef has some decent looking sumps that would fit the reef mat

I am looking at the Luna sumps. I emailed to ask questions a couple of times, and they responded almost immediately. What I would like to hear is some real-world usage of them. I have room for a 34-inch sump at the maximum, which Luna makes. Almost everyone else jumps from 30 to 36 inches. Banshee will custom-make me one, but I really don't want to pay for a custom just to drop two inches.

synergy did make a 34 as well, that's what I went with. I think its the perfect size for a 36 inch tank.

I did receive a reply from Synergy back in Sept telling me they do not make custom sumps. I did not get a reply to follow up inquiries in Oct and Nov (both via their submission form and via email) asking for pricing and availability of their 34" sump and an ATO reservoir. I ended up buying a 34x15x15 Trigger sump but have not set it up yet, as I'm also awaiting a new tank from GC.

I would say something is definitely not good with them but I don't understand why they continue to operate their website as if they are open for business, because obviously
they are not.

Yeah, they are not in business anymore. I have tried also to contact them and had no response on their site or social media. Perhaps they had just paid for their site for a period of time and abandoned it? Either way they do not seem possible to work with. I was looking for an adapter for 1.5" plumbing to a reefmat 1200.

Yeah thats odd. He told me there was a 1 week turnaround on an ATO reservoir.
Wish he had responded to me as well 😂. I must not have enough clout.

What ever time frame has since passed. I ordered from a guy a buddy of mine that runs a LFS here in town uses.

But still no response from them. And tried to contract them at the same email three times. And yes they should not be keeping a web site up if they are no longer doing such work.

Man that's sad to hear. I have their 72 in with some mods they did and it's a great sump. i had great support with them but that was 5 years ago. Sad if they went out of buisness

Do yourself a favor and do not get a dark sump and ate container. You should not need a high power flashlight to do a cursor view to see if everything is ok. Ask me why this is important.

Oh wow. Are you referring to the black or the gray side walls, or to the smoked vs. clear acrylic front piece?
