Well today was going good till I came home from lunch and the ballast on my t-5 lights went out. So now I'm stuck. I'm moving in a few weeks and have to spend my money on the move. dang electrical stuff breaking at the most inconvenience of times. Anyone have an extra t-5 or LED lights they would like to donate lol?! So what's my best bet here. To just replace the ballast or to upgrade with almost no money budgeted for this unfortunate issue.

What size tank do you have? How many T-5’s were you running?

What fixture was it? My guess if it was a generic brand, then it most likely used rapid start ballasts. I’m thinking this would probably work pending verification of the brand of your T5 fixture,

It was a coral life brand. With a lightpark ballast. I looked at the link. Thanks you for that and that ballast is $20 cheaper then the one it came with.
