T. Maxima Behavior?

Unlike many pictures I see of Clams being fully open, meaning wide open. My T. Maxima never does this. Is it normal behavior?
This is as wide as she gets always.

Going by just your picture, I don't really see an issue with the extension of your clam's mantle. Hopefully a more experienced reefer can chime in though.

She's looking good! My maxima doesn't open nearly as wide as my crocea and squammy do.
 
I do not see anything that stands out either. The one that spread the most was my squammy. Even one of my derasas would really expand which was a bit weird. Looks fine, but with all clams, watch closely for changes. :)
