I am currently in the search of making a T-slot Aluminum stand for a 6' tank. I have ideas and plans, but since I do not have any aluminum on hand, to test and fiddle with, I am wondering if anyone else has a stand like the one I intend to make. If you do pictures and info would be greatly appreciated.
I am in the military and have to move about every 3-4 years, every time I had to get rid of a stand I made out of wood, because when the military moves you, you are limited on a set amount of weight that they will move for free. I think a stand that is able to be taken apart and reassembled and is light weight would greatly be easier on my moves. Not to mention I pretty much have to sell off my livestock every-time I move unless its a two day drive. I have seen the YouTube videos, from Primo Acrylics and the bulk reef supply one from vertex. but details are key, to any build, just looking for info.
This is my first thread, so if I left anything out, please let me know.
