T5 hybrid for 36" tank

I have a radion and I want to add more light to a 36" tank build. Would running a 24 " t5 hybrid be enough or does the hybrid need to be 36" also?

IMHO I think the 24: t5 will do OK. They disperse light quite well and being only 6" off either end, they should spread that far. A36" light will throw a lot of light outside the tank at the ends.

36" would be best. 24" is better than what you have now.
