T5 w/LED.. bulb suggestions?

I am running two ocean revive arctic t247... I am adding 4 t5 bulbs to my canopy as I believe led and t5 is a great combo...

That said what bulbs would you suggest for the 4 t5? Anyone have any pics of a similar setup for color refrence?

I prefer somewhat whiter look and would prefer to get that from the t5s and the blue and pop from the LEDS... thanks for the help!

2 Ati coral plus will give you pretty high par and a blue plus and a purple to fill in.

I would suggest one Coral plus and one Blue plus. Two blue plus will leave your tank with a washed out look. But then again if you only ran your t5s during your photo period with your T247 with whites full blast then you may get away with it. I personally run one blue plus and one coral plus with radions. I will be pulling out the blue plus and replacing it with the E5 blue pop this weekend

So I was able to mount 3 t5 in the canopy... the middle one runs right through my LEDS.. but they have an open section there...so it only blocks a little bit of light... can't tell in the tank...

Right now I am running two blue plus and one purple plus.... it's a little too white.. I will probably add one actinic and take out a blue plus...

Any suggestions on intensity? This is where I am guessing a little... I turned the LEDS down, especially the white channel.. and decided to run the t5s for 3 hours....

Both leds and t5 on is pretty bright... but that's also likely because I'm used to the shadowing from LED only...

Hey my friend. It looks good. I really have to suggest getting the t5 up away from the water. VHO can give off a lot of energy. When you put your han in the tank and bump the bulb I think your going to feel it. That energy is also going Ito the tank.
I'm not sure whet set up you have but if it's like mine the reflectors I'd guess are not grounded to ballast and outlet. I had to add them.
Also at that distance it's pretty crazy high par.
As far as the too white what ratio are you running the led's at. The t5 alone are much greater then 20k already.

As far as intensity I'm afraid I can't help unless you have a Lux meter. I do know the intensity of the t5 and par values and it's a great idea to add them at their peak.

By energy do you mean heat?... the reflectors do get a little hot..

In most of my reading the height off the water was fairly low... they are a bit higher than they appear in the pic... unfortunately because of the canopy and leds that was my only option for mounting them...

No. Electricity. Im concerned with safety. Look in to a grounding probe. Check the residual voltage like normal and test from the reflector to the water.
Yea I had the same issue in my canopy so i mentioned it. I added 4 but had a current orbit and its 2 in wide.
