Decided to part with my Taiwan Holy Grail Torch. It’s ~2 heads. Only seen one vendor selling it and that was POTO. My new 8’ tank is becoming more of a money pit than expected so time to fund the other equipment I want. Price is $480. Shipping will vary between $35-65 depending on your state. Please text me @ 734-725-98fiveO if interested. Pics below are under blue led only, led + T5 and original supplier pic.

Bump! Quite a bit of interest but no ones pulled the trigger. Just to be clear price is firm.

Both Indo and Aussie Holly Grails have neon green mouths and the pattern goes from there to the tips. I was just wondering if it had the same bright green neon mouth. Can't just take any "close" torch and call it a Holy Grail.

You would have to ask POTO/original importer. They named it not me. My guess would be because of the gold color tentacles and green mouth.

It’s a great looking gold torch. Attached is a holy grail and a Aussie gold torch from my display. It’s my opinion the vendor who sold the original frag is using the name for marketing. It’s perfectly fine since there is no Taiwan holy grail. I’ve seen another vendor selling an Aussie holy grail. Key difference for a hg is polyp length and color. I can make the Aussie gold super yellow also. But no matter what lighting or depth in the tank the holy grail is a bright neon yellow.

My understanding for the naming is because of the gold tentacles and green mouth as stated above. Also, this torch is from Taiwan another reason for the name. It is much different that any Aussie or Indo holy grail so you can’t really compare them.

Also you can’t make a torch have long tentacles. For instance an Aussie holy grail will not have as long of tentacles as Indo.

Exactly. There is no such thing as an Aussie holy grail for instance or Taiwan. Yet vendors will use the name because people google holy grail torch coral. When I newly Then they come across it. It’s a great looking coral and fair priced, and you’re selling it as vendor describes.

The green mouth is very faint. You can see that on an Aussie gold torch also. Attached is a Aussie gold torch head . Second and third pic same frag. Beautiful coral, coloration is not close to any holy grail. 24k holy grail last pic.

Well I’ve seen several and actually own 5 heads of Aussie holy grail so I’d have to say there is such thing. But aside from that I’m really not sure what your point or where you’re trying to go with your posts.

Point being. There is a difference to what the community considers and sells as a holy grail gold torch, and as a gold torch.
