Taking Coral home from fish store/ more

The store down by me in Florida has many selections. I want to bring one home to Ohio and I’m planning on getting it tomorrow evening. We leave Sunday at 7:30am. Is it safe to bring it in a bag this long?

Also, I got a live mangrove propagule from the beach and a rock the size of a half a dollar bill from the beach as well. Are these both legal to take back to Ohio? Thanks!

Googling it, its 16 hours from Florida to Ohio, so seeing how the bag would get cold in that time, I wouldn't do it unless you were driving 16 hours straight and had them pack it for you like they were shipping it. Otherwise I would just ship it so it can be packed with a heat pack and come in the mail by 10:30.

In that case a few hours should be nothing but have them pack it for you like they are shipping it just encase of any delays at the airport.

If you’re flying commercial you won’t be able to fly with much liquid. You might be able to let the airline know ahead of time.

You can fly with liquid if you're transporting livestock.
