I’ve said it a bunch of times in this thread already so forgive me for sounding like a broken record, over the next few days, please take your Alk readings at the same time everyday and post them here. Knowing what your daily Alk consumption is paramount to getting your tank going in the right direction. In order to get your consumption rate we will need several days of Alk readings.

With the CaRx off, I do believe you will see the pH rise on its own over the next few days.

which salt mix would you recommend i should get?

I believe you mentioned that your were using Fritz RPM, correct? That should work fine. No need to change that IMO.

Me? I’m cheap... I’m using Instant Ocean! :)

Just been following along. I agree the calcium reactor was premature.

I personally only use Kalkwasser in my ATO reservoir and my alkalinity stays around 10 dkh. I don't dose anything else. I do a weekly water change of 10 gallons on a 240 gallon total water system. 125 gallon DT.

I use IO for salt.

Thanks for posting... When you have a few (3 or more) days of Alk readings, feel free to just list them out in dkH please. No need to post screenshots and such... just makes deciphering the info more tedious IMO. Thanks! :)

Good eye! Indeed, the low CaRx pH seems to indicate that CO2 is still being fed to the calcium reactor. If that’s the case, then please unplug your CarbobDoser and turn the CO2 tank valve to fully closed.

@hyeclass are you doing water changes to bring the parameters down? why does your calcium reactor ph still read 6.66? did you just kill water flow to it?

what is you ph trend doing since killing the reactor?

I am still having issues with my pH being very low, here is the screen shot
Yes I am doa water change to bring the parameters down

What come
When is the last time you calibrated the pH probe? Maybe the probe is off? Have you been able to confirm with another test it's reading correctly?

When was the calcium reactor removed from the system? Have you done any water changes as discussed earlier?
