Talk about timing

I've got a QT setup in my bedroom. As I was walking to my fish room, i decided to check on everybody in QT. And I kid you not, less than a second after I opened the door, a dartfish flew through the air onto the floor. However, I picked picked him up, he was relatively dry, so I believe he had been sitting on top of the makeshift lid for a minute or two and when I opened the door he jumped onto the floor. SO glad I found him because it would have sucked to lose this guy (4" zebra dartfish). He appears fine now.

Nice find! I have heard of others finding fish on the floor still alive but I have never been so lucky :rolleyes:

I've lost a few fish like that. Good thing you walked in on time.
